Did you know there are more than 70 Phoenix-metro eateries that accept both people and pets as patrons? No matter what part of the Valley you’re in, you can be sure to find a favorite spot for both you and your pooch.

Here are a few dog-friendly restaurants on our radar this month – best part is, all of these are locally owned and operated!

For the Hiker…

PNPK

23335 N. Scottsdale Road, Suite D-105

PNPK, named in homage to the nearby (and similarly dog friendly) Pinnacle Peak Mountain, is a full-service restaurant and wine bar featuring craft sliders and shareable bites as well as local and regional beers and cocktails. Open daily from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m., PNPK boasts a 800-sqaure-foot dog friendly patio that is accessible from the walking path off Scottsdale Road and provides plenty of water and shade for your pooch to unwind while you un“wine”!

For the Wine Lover…

ROTT ‘N GRAPES

4750 N Central Ave #140

Central Phoenix neighborhood bar Rott N’ Grapes was inspired by owners Patty Gii and Keith Shank’s two greatest loves: wine & Rottweilers! The couple has rescued several Rotties over the years (their current fur babies Onyx & Dolcetta are the slobbery faces of the brand) and regularly supports HALO Animal Rescue through various fundraisers.

Not only does Rott N’ Grapes feature a dog-friendly patio, four-legged patrons are also welcome in the indoor game room, an air-conditioned space that pet lovers will flock to in the hot summer months (and to try the robust selection of more than 70 wines)!
